Upper Class Rough
Although using the classic fabric and production methods, the jeans have a modern, streetwear inspired but still timeless (and ageless) style.
Over time, the jeans as a constant companion will then reflect more and more the individual histories and lifestyles of their owners. No jeans will be the same as the other.
Next to regular but always limited drops of jeans capsules, we also aim to provide you with some additional drops of other garments like Denim jackets and accessories, always manufactured from raw and solid materials that will age in style together with you.
The Upper Class Rough garments will always be manufactured in Europe (or maybe in Japan at a later stage) to secure and high sustainable and social production standards we set ourselves.
The current jeans collection is made from best Japanese premium raw selvage denim from the 3 mills Kaihara, Kurabo and Kuroki and manufactured by a family company that is a recognised jeans expert manufacturer in Portugal.
The Rough collection will also serve as our “laboratory” to select the most authentic use replica effects for our Upper Class – Les Enfants Terribles jeans collections.

The hems and waistband of our jeans are sewn with the artisanal chain stitching method for which we use Union special machines. Two separate threads are “chained” together to keep the hem always in place and provide some stretch. The machine pulls the denim as the stitch is being set, which will bring the so called “roping” effect along the hem edge when wearing over time.
